NRM Graduate Students Honored by ARCSNOVEMBER 2, 2009– The Lubbock chapter of Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) has named two Natural Resources Management graduate students to its list of top young researchers. Wildlife Science PhD candidates Anthony Giordano and Jon McRoberts were selected by ARCS to receive scholarship support for their research efforts. The scholarship awards were presented to sixteen science students at Lubbock Christian University and Texas Tech University. The ARCS Foundation is dedicated to helping meet the country’s need for scientists and engineers by providing scholarships to academically outstanding students who are U.S. citizens studying for degrees in science, medicine and engineering, thereby contributing not only to the advancement of science, but also to the material and intellectual welfare of all people. |
