Mark Moseley Named 2008 Outstanding Alumnus
MAY 6, 2009– Mark Moseley, a 1973 graduate of Texas Tech's Department of Natural Resources Management, has been honored with the Department's 2008 Outstanding Alumnus Award. Moseley is a rangeland management specialist for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Wildlife Biologist Jena Moon Talks Marshland Protection with Houston Chronicle
APRIL 3, 2009 – Wildlife biologist and Natural Resources Management alum Jena Moon was recently featured in a Houston Chronicle article discussing the dangers of lack of rainfall in vital wetlands damaged by Hurricane Ike.

Ricky Linex Named Wildlife Society's Educator of the Year
MARCH 6, 2009 – Wildlife biologist Ricky Linex has been named Educator of the Year by the Texas Chapter of the Wildlife Society at its annual conference on February 27th. Linex is a 1981 graduate of Texas Tech's Department of Natural Resources Management.

Dr. Warren Conway Named Outstanding Alumnus for 2007
FEBRUARY 20, 2009 – Dr. Warren Conway has been named 2007 Outstanding Alumnus by the Department of Natural Resources Management at Texas Tech University. Dr. Conway is a professor in the Arthur Temple College of Forestry at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
