Management

In order to maintain the pronghorn, large non-commercial grazing areas should be reserved. This will ensure that the habitat requirements for the pronghorn are met. In addition, hunting can be used to remove surplus animals and disperse concentration of antelopes to desirable ranges. Controlled hunting with permits to take a predetermined number of animals is a recommended procedure (Trippensee 1948).
