	Conference Schedule: The 13th Wildland Shrub Symposium will be held in Lubbock, Texas, August 10-12, 2004. For more information please contact Ron Sosebee, Dept. of Range, Wildlife, & Fisheries Mgt., Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX 79409 (e-mail: ron.sosebee@ttu.edu; phone: 806-742-1983). Registration: Pre-registration: $150 before May 31, 2004 Late Registration: $200 after May 31, 2004 Field Trip: Registration for the field trip: $40 (must register separately for the field trip) Registration is limited to the first 120 registrants Program-at-a-Glance Call for Papers: Abstract Deadline: May 1, 2004 Instruction to Authors for Preparing Manuscripts: Manuscript Submission for Publication in the Proceedings Deadline: January 15, 2005 Presentations: Oral: Oral presentations will be scheduled for 15-20 minute intervals. Slides, overhead projection, and power point equipment will be available. Please indicate on submission form, as per the example, what equipment you need. Posters: Posters should be prepared to fit on a 4x8 backboard. The backdrops to which the posters will be attached will be provided along with a table for displaying written materials, seed samples, etc. The Poster Session will be Tuesday evening in association with the reception. Authors, please be sure to update your mailing address if you move. Publication of Proceedings: Papers will be published by the Rocky Mt. Research Station, U.S. Forest Service, U.S.D.A. Schedule for Submission of Complete Manuscripts: Completed manuscripts must be submitted to Ron Sosebee, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX 79409. They must be received by January 15, 2005 so publication of the Proceedings will not be delayed. Manuscripts submitted after the deadline will not be included in the Proceedings. Editorial Process for Symposium Papers: If your institution provides editing services, please process your manuscript through normal editorial procedures before submitting for the Symposium Proceedings. The Symposium Planning and Organizing Committee will provide editorial reviews of all papers. Please send a hard copy of your paper along with a computer disk or CD and original photos to:
