Work in the Perry lab broadly covers the impacts of humans on the biotic world. Current work focuses on two primary issues: endangered species and invasive species. Studies are primarily field-oriented, at both international and domestic sites, and commonly center on reptiles and amphibians. Individual projects address reasons for decline, methods of control & prevention of invasive species spread, urban ecology, basic biology, behavior, evolution, and related issues.
