APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

A supportive and encouraging environment is essential for effective learning to occur. I demand from myself, and expect from my students, adherence to the following rules:

•     Be polite. Treat others with respect and civility.

•     Be timely. Meet assignment deadlines.

•     Be on time. Don't arrive late, and don't leave before the class is over.

•     Pay attention. Don't talk while others are speaking.

•     No cell phones. Please turn off, or set to silent mode, phones and pagers.

•     Communicate. If you are having problems with any aspect of the class,
                              talk to me ASAP and I will try to help.
