Range, Wildlife, & Fisheries Club
|
Students from the Department of Natural Resources Management and other interested groups form the RWF Club. The Club also represents student chapters of three Profesional Societies: the Society for Range Management (SRM), the Wildlife Society (TWS), and the American Fisheries Society (AFS). The goal of the Club is to bring together students and professionals from a variety of natural resource fields, to increase student awareness about the career options in natural resources, and provide assistance in obtaining employment and career success. We are a registered student organization at Texas Tech University, and membership is open to all university students interested in Range, Wildlife and Fisheries Science. Dues for the club are $20 per year or $10 per semester. Formal club meetings are held monthly. Officer meetings are held prior to the general meeting. In addition, the club is involved with a variety of fund raisers, community service projects, professional meetings, and conservation related projects and trips. For details about upcoming meetings, contact one of the officers. |
