Hello

My general research interest is the conservation and management of nongame wildlife species, especially with respect to anthropogenic influences such as landscape level changes and energy development.  I attempt to use research to build upon our basic understanding of species and systems while meeting the more applied management information needs of natural resource managers. In this context, my current research has been focused on 1) conservation and management of prairie wildlife, 2) ecology and conservation of predatory birds, and 3) conservation of migrant and resident bird species in the east Caribbean. My personal research interest is in predator - prey relationships, especially in the role of such relationships in the stability of natural communities.
